MEET THE FOUNDER

Kim Holley OTR/L

As a lifelong resident of the Wiregrass area, Kim is passionate about serving the children and families of the community and surrounding areas that she proudly calls home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following graduation, she returned home to Dothan, where she has since raised her two daughters and built her career. She has since spent over 25 years helping children develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for success at home, at school, and in everyday life.

Throughout her career, she has worked closely with families, educators, and healthcare providers across both the school system and outpatient setting. Her approach combines evidence-based practice with compassionate, individualized care that celebrates each child’s unique strengths and potential.

When she founded A-Plus Therapy in 1999, her goal was simple: provide high quality pediatric occupational therapy services. Today, A-Plus continues to remain committed to bridging the gap to functional independence for every child we serve.

Our Story

A-Plus Therapy was established in July 1999 to help meet a need in the Wiregrass community to provide Occupational Therapy Services. Our company strives to meet little ones where they are and help them on their journey to independence and success in a fun and playful way. We serve multiple roles in the community including collaboration with school systems, early intervention in homes and daycares, and in the outpatient clinic. Our goal is to add fun to learning functional skills thus bridging the gap to their functional independence. Children are a joy to work with, and we delight in watching them blossom with creative new skills and talents. A-Plus Therapy also works to partner with parents to give them helpful tips and tricks to help their child bloom in new skills. We guide parents as they develop confidence and a new set of skills to help their child achieve their potential.
